Risk Disclosure
This Risk Disclosure Statement is provided by Ordalvek ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") to inform users of the substantial financial, technological, and operational risks inherent in the trading of digital assets, cryptocurrencies, and derivative financial instruments using automated algorithmic execution systems.
Carefully consider your financial situation, trading experience, risk tolerance, and investment goals before engaging in digital asset trading or activating algorithmic software. Trading cryptocurrencies carries a significant risk of partial or total loss of capital.
1. General Market and Volatility Risk
Cryptocurrency and digital asset markets are characterized by extraordinary price volatility. Token valuations can fluctuate wildly within minutes as a consequence of speculative trading, liquidity imbalances, macroeconomic announcements, regulatory interventions, and sudden changes in market sentiment. You must never allocate funds, assets, or capital that you cannot afford to lose in their entirety.
2. Algorithmic and Automated Execution Risks
While the Ordalvek platform provides automated algorithmic modeling, quantitative indicators, and risk management parameters, algorithmic execution carries inherent technological and systemic risks, including:
- Software Latency & API Desynchronization: Latency between Ordalvek's computational servers, cloud routing networks, and target cryptocurrency exchange order books may lead to unexpected execution delays;
- Slippage & Price Gaps: Fast-moving market conditions can prevent limit or market orders from filling at modeled prices, producing negative slippage;
- Model Degradation: Quantitative algorithms are calibrated against historical market metrics. Historical market patterns do not guarantee future performance, and abrupt shifts in market regimes may cause trading algorithms to perform poorly;
- Order Rejections & Exchange Limits: Third-party trading venues may reject orders due to maintenance windows, system saturation, API throttle limits, or internal matching engine failures.
3. Non-Custodial Architecture & User Responsibility
Ordalvek operates strictly on a non-custodial software framework. The Platform does not take custody of your crypto balances, private keys, or fiat reserves. All trade executions take place directly on external exchanges or decentralized liquidity protocols using API keys generated and configured by you. You maintain full and sole responsibility for:
- Securing your external exchange accounts and enabling robust security protections such as hardware-based multi-factor authentication (MFA);
- Restricting API key permissions strictly to trading actions and explicitly disabling withdrawal capabilities;
- Monitoring open positions, margin ratios, stop-loss thresholds, and software activity on an ongoing basis.
4. Leverage, Margin, and Liquidation Risks
Trading perpetual contracts, futures, or margin pairs magnifies both potential gains and potential losses. When trading on margin, adverse price movements can result in the rapid liquidation of your entire collateral balance without advance warning. Algorithms configured with aggressive leverage expose trading accounts to accelerated total capital forfeiture during sudden market spikes or flash crashes.
5. Regulatory and Legal Uncertainties
The regulatory framework governing digital assets, algorithmic trading, and cryptographic protocols remains subject to ongoing legislative changes, judicial rulings, and administrative agency rules across the United States and global jurisdictions. Regulatory actions may restrict trading pairs, ban specific assets, limit cross-border connectivity, or abruptly render digital asset activities unlawful in specific localities.
6. Cybersecurity and Technical Infrastructure Risks
All internet-reliant software systems remain vulnerable to power outages, distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, hardware malfunctions, telecommunication network disruptions, and third-party software library exploits. Although Ordalvek employs enterprise-grade cybersecurity standards, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted uptime or prevent external platform failures that may affect trade timing and order execution.
7. No Investment, Legal, or Financial Advice
Nothing presented on the Ordalvek platform, documentation, promotional material, or simulator calculator constitutes financial advice, investment counsel, tax strategy, or legal guidance. Ordalvek does not act as a fiduciary, portfolio manager, or licensed broker. All algorithmic parameters, simulated profit scenarios, and historical backtests are educational and illustrative tools intended for self-directed market participants. You should consult an independent, qualified, and licensed financial advisor prior to executing trades.
8. Acknowledgment of Risk
By connecting external exchange API keys and deploying algorithmic software via Ordalvek, you affirmatively acknowledge that you understand and voluntarily accept all risks outlined in this disclosure. You agree that Ordalvek, its founders, directors, employees, and technological partners bear no liability whatsoever for any trading losses, missed opportunities, or damages incurred during your engagement with the Platform.
